S&P affirms Town's AA stable bond rating; SP-1+ short term rating - UPDATED 3/27/13 - Standard & Poor's assigns SP-1+ short-term rating—its highest—for Littleton’s upcoming $5.3-million BANs; affirms AA rating. Finding the Town of Littleton's financial position and management practices "strong," S&P had affirmed the Town's AA bond rating with a stable outlook in November 2012. Read more.

Omni / 15 Great Road Decisions. On Thursday, February 14, 2013, the Zoning Board of Appeals unanimously approved a 40B comprehensive permit for 190 rental units for Village Green Apartments, 15 Great Road; and the Planning Board unanimously approved an "open space" special permit and 40A definitive subdivision plan for The Orchards. On February 11, 2013, the Board of Selectmen approved a host community agreement with the developer providing mitigation payments to the Town and assurance that the Town's subsidized housing inventory remain above 10% through the year 2031. Read more.

FY 2013 Property Tax Rates Approved -  The Town of Littleton's property tax rates for FY 2013 have been approved at $16.98 per $1,000 of assessed value for Residential and $27.23 per $1,000 AV for Commercial/Industrial/Personal. For an average residential property assessed at $366,412, its tax bill will increase by 4.06%; the tax bill for a commercial property assessed at $491,000 will increase by 5.79%. A second notice of Town Board Vacancy has been posted for the Open Space & Recreation Plan Implementation (OSRP)  Committee - The Open Space & Recreation Plan is critical to help guide the town for future open space protection and recreation opportunities.  Having a current plan helps acquire state grant funding for water protection and land acquisition and recreation improvements.  Reposted 4/8/13
