The Gallery at the Reuben Hoar

Artwork from Shaker Lane and Russell Street School Students - November 2 to December 7

The gallery has a sampling of artwork from the town’s two elementary schools where the students are being introduced to materials, practice skills and are learning to explore the creative process. In addition, they learn the routines needed to find success as a young artist in a busy art room. Shaker Lane (K-2) and Russell Street Schools (3-5) students focused on line variety at the beginning of the school year.  This theme took many different paths depending on the grade but resulted in a number of very bold and colorful projects showcasing line now on display.
