Long Lake Beach Bathhouse Design Project- Survey
The Parks, Recreation, and Community Education (PRCE) Department has acquired $30,000 from the Community Preservation Committee (CPC), for the purpose of designing a new bathhouse at Long Lake Beach. The current building is approximately 65 years old and no longer accommodates the needs of the Parks and Recreation Department or provides the services required for our community.
This is PRCE’s “home” at Long Lake. Our goal is to design a building that blends into the neighborhood, while meeting the required functionality.
The design needs to accommodate restrooms, showers, changing stalls, a lifeguard/first aid office, snack shack, boat rentals, possible classroom/shelter space, and serve as the only PRCE equipment storage for the kayaks, canoes, sailboats, docks, and other equipment for all four seasons. Share your comments, suggestions, and ideas and help us get some great feedback, by completing the survey.
Please take a moment to register in our new software RecDesk. It is more user friendly than our old system, and is also mobile ready. Meaning you can check our programs and offerings on the go and sign up and pay for classes via your Smartphone or Tablet. We cannot carry over any of the household information from the old program, so you will need to create a new account. It doesn’t take long just go to set one up today.
Reminder EVERY family member must pay the $5.00 annual registration fee prior to registering for any activities!
