PARAMEDIC INTERCEPT SERVICES
The Town of Littleton Fire Department (LFD) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Paramedic Intercept Services.
LFD is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Paramedic Intercept Services for a one (1) to three (3) year period. It is the intent of LFD to award one contract.
Due to the technical nature of the services required under the proposed contract, LFD has determined that this procurement is best served by using the RFP process under Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30B, and Section 6. Such a process will enable the agency to evaluate the experience of the contractor and his or her ability to carry out the contract requirements. Because paramedic intercept service is a critical function within the EMS system, it is important that LFD has the ability to select the most advantageous proposal on the basis of both technical expertise and cost.
Proposals are due by 12:00 noon on February 3, 2010 per submittal requirements to: Bonnie Holston, Finance Director, 37 Shattuck St, Littleton MA 01460. Late proposals will not be accepted. Faxed proposals will not be accepted. HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT
Road Reconstruction 2010
CONTRACT: #2/25/10-1
Sealed bids will be received by the Littleton Highway Department, 39 Ayer Road, P.O. Box 1305, Littleton, Massachusetts 01460 until 7:30 a.m. 2/25/10, at which time they will be opened and read aloud.
The scope of work includes the reconstruction of Crane Road within the Town of Littleton. The work entails major drainage system installation; reclamation of existing bituminous concrete pavements; re-grading the road base for paving; furnishing and installing bituminous concrete paving; furnishing and installing bituminous concrete berms; furnishing and installing associated bituminous concrete handwork; and other incidental work.
Specifications and bid forms are available between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from Littleton Highway Department, 39 Ayer Road, P.O. Box 1305, Littleton, MA.
The Bidders attention is called to the requirements and conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract as determined by the Department of Labor and Industries under the provisions of the MGL, Chapter 149, Section 26-27D inclusive.
The requirements of MGL Chapter 29, Section 8B apply to this contract. Prospective bidders must obtain Form R-109, “Request for Proposal Form” from the Massachusetts Highway Contract Engineer, Room 7552, 10 Park Plaza, Boston, MA 02116. This form must be completed and submitted to the Town prior to the opening of the bids.
Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price payable to the “Town of Littleton”. No proposal may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days of the designated bid opening date.
The Town of Littleton reserves the right to reject any or all bids wholly or in part, and accept any bid or part thereof deemed in the Town's best interest.
