MGL C.39,§23B clause 3 – Executive Session – litigation strategy - Town Counsel - vote, pursuant to MGL C.39,§23B clause 3 to go into executive session for the purpose of discussing strategy with respect to litigation and to convene in open session thereafter [Roll call vote: 4-0] 7:00 PM In Room 307 2. Performance Appraisal Training for Town Board members - Section 4 of the Town Administrator By-law (Chapter 3 of the Town Code) provides that the TA "shall administer the Town’s performance review process in order to ensure consistent reviews across all departments. The Town Administrator shall have the following responsibility to ensure that the reviews are conducted in a fair and timely manner: a) Responsibility of performance reviews for direct reports of the Town Administrator; b) Oversee the review process for employees who report to a department head; and c) Provide input for employees who report to Town Boards." - The system developed in consultation with the Personnel Board and affected staff offers two alternative forms: Form 1 - uniform performance criteria; Form 2 - uniform performance criteria and written performance objectives. - TA to meet with the Conservation Commission, Council on Aging, Library Trustees, Park & Recreation Commissioners, Board of Assessors, Cemetery Commissioners, Planning Board, Board of Health, and Zoning Board of Appeals regarding the administration of the performance appraisal system for their direct reports.
