Public Notice: Littleton Transfer Station Fees Amended. The Board of Selectmen for the Town of Littleton conducted a public hearing on Monday, August 25, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen’s Hearing Room, Room 103, Littleton Town Offices, 37 Shattuck Street, Littleton, MA 01460 and amended the fee structure for use of the Town of Littleton Transfer Station, effective October 1, 2008 as shown in Proposal B, below:

| Explanation: The old fee structure raised some $365,000, compared to total cost of operating the transfer station at $403,000. The new fees are projected to cover that total operating cost. Proposal A would have increased the full-price sticker from $250 to $285, and the senior sticker from $65 to $75. Proposal B leaves the senior sticker unchanged, but increases the full-price sticker from $250 to $290. Proposal B was enacted. |
