Closed Friday, Saturday,  and Sunday July 3 - 5.

Brown Bag Networkers

If you are job hunting, network on Thursday, July 2 at 2 p.m. in the Couper Room. Note the new time. Chris Vasiliadis will be talking about staying well during your job hunt. All are welcome.  Friends of the Reuben Hoar Library support this program and provide beverages.

New Library Hours

Beginning July 1 the library will open at 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  The library will be closed on Fridays during July and August.  In September the Friday hours will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 With the April, 1926 issue of AMAZING STORIES, magazine science fiction was born. Stop in to see a reproduction of this magazine cover and many other science fiction titles like "Wonder Stories", "Galaxy" and "Other Worlds"  published through the years  Among the many famous writers who started in these magazines were Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clark and Robert A. Heinlein. Ralph Carlson has shared these images from his collection.
