Middle School Early Release Field Trips Spring 2012

For Students in Grades 6, 7 and 8

Permission Slip (REQUIRED)

Wednesday, April 11th: Harvard Museum of Natural History

Students will travel to Cambridge to visit the Harvard Museum of Natural History. Students will get to participate in the museum's "What's on Wednesday" program which gives students a chance to explore the museum while doing a scavenger hunt in groups. The scavenger hunt will be based on a zoology theme and will provide students a different and interactive way to see the museum. And with over 12,000 objects, students might even learn a few new things too!

Friday, May 11th: Roll On America!


Students will travel to Lancaster to Roll on America where each student will get one slice of pizza, a small drink, skate rentals, 1 game of laser tag, and 10 game tokens to use in the arcade! Students will get to have a fun filled afternoon with their friends roller skating and playing games! Students may bring extra money to purchase more tokens and refreshments.

Wednesday, May 30th: Super Duck Tour in Boston!

This 90 minute duck tour offers students historical and unusual information about the city of Boston! This tour is 45 minutes in the water and 45 minutes on land! The tour starts in Charlestown and goes by the USS Constitution, Boston City Hall, Copley Square, and Fenway Park! Limit to 45 students maximum.

Important Information

An email confirming pick up time, itinerary, and trip information will be sent to parents of registered students the Monday before each trip. Please make sure to include your email on your permission slip so that you may receive this information.

In order to hold a spot, payment and a permission slip is required. Without payment, your child is not registered.

Any questions regarding these trips, please do not contact the school.

**Payment and a permission slip is required for every student. If we do not have a permission slip or payment for your child, they cannot attend the field trip. Permission Slips can be brought into the PRCE office or mailed/faxed in.
