Transfer Station Stickers

Transfer station stickers for July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024 are now available for purchase online through UniPay.

Please bring a copy of your receipt and proof of residency to the transfer station to pick up your new transfer station sticker.

Redemption Center

The redemption center at the transfer station is currently available for any nonprofit groups looking to raise some money! If interested please call 978-540-2670.

Payments

We will only be accepting Debit/Credit Cards and Checks for payment at this time. Credit card and debit card payments will be assessed an additional fee as listed:

  • VISA Debit Card Fee - Flat Rate of $3.95
  • Unipay Credit Card Fee Schedule (Fees assessed on a per transaction basis):
    • From $1 to $99.99: $2.50 fee
    • From $100 to $199.99: $5 fee
    • From $200 to $399.99: $10 fee
    • From $400 to $699.99: $17.50 fee

Fees are assessed by the credit card company. The Town does not control the fee and cannot waive the fee.

Sticker Rules

All Residents will need to have a Transfer Station Sticker to use the facility. Stickers are available online and at the attendants' building.

Other Resources

Leaves & Grass Clippings Accepted

The Transfer Station will again begin accepting leaves, grass clippings and brush/logs. The material does not need to be in compostable bags.

PAYT Trash Bags Purchase Locations

For any bag issues, please email Waste Zero or call 800-866-3954.

PAYT Trash Bags can be purchased in rolls of five at the following locations:

  • Market Basket, Littleton
  • Littleton Convenience, Littleton
  • Common Convenience, Littleton
  • Aubuchon Hardware, Littleton
  • Littleton Lumber, Littleton

Devens Household Hazardous Waste Facility

Open the first Wednesday and the following Saturday 9 am to 1 pm, except for holidays and weather permitting. Littleton is participating in the regional facility at Devens for disposal of household hazardous waste. The facility provides better management of Household Hazardous Waste - the regional service makes it easier for residents to properly dispose of toxic waste, provides additional protection to drinking water supplies, and delivers operational and financial savings to the participating municipalities.

  • The discontinuance of the Recycling Only Stickers began on October 1, 2011.
  • Senior Citizen stickers are available for individuals 60 years old or older.

Household Goods, Inc.

Household Goods, Inc. provides a full range of donated furniture and household items, free of charge, to help people in need make a home. Household Goods accepts donations of clean, usable furniture and household items on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9 am to noon at 530 Main Street, Acton, MA.
