Program Description: Every Sunday athletes will learn the fundamentals of running. They will warm-up at the beginning of each workout, do technique drills to work on form, have a running workout and stretch at the end. On the last practice, athletes will run a race. Athletes in grades K-2 will run a 1/2 mile and athletes in grades 3-6 will run a mile. Both the 1/2 mile and mile races will start at Fay Park and will continue through the same trails that the high school XC runners use to compete and practice.
Fall Session:
Schedule: Sundays for 6-weeks 9/17 - 10/22
Grade Level: K-2 - 8:00am-9:00am
Grade Level: 3-6 - 8:00am-10:00am
Location: RSS Track 9/17 then Fay Park 9/24-10/22
