Hazel Plummer 1908 - 2023

We learned today that Littleton's Hazel Plummer, the oldest resident of Massachusetts, has passed away at the age of 114.  She was just 25 days shy of her 115th birthday.  She was an active churchgoer her entire life who never drank alcohol or smoked. Back in 2019, when she became the oldest resident in Massachusetts, Hazel was asked what attributed to her long life, Hazel replied, “eating ginger.”  The Littleton Select Board sends their condolences to Ms. Plummer's family.
