With Memorial Day just a short few weeks away, it is time for veterans around the world to reflect on why we celebrate that day.  Littleton is no different from any other town throughout the United States at this time of year.  We begin Memorial Day Weekend with a group of volunteers, including veterans, scout troops and members of the community, who go through the town’s cemeteries and place an American Flag at the grave of each Veteran of every war, or conflict.  This will happen this year on Saturday, May 27th starting at 8 a.m. at Westlawn Cemetery.  We then end the weekend by marching, or riding, in the Town Parade on Monday.
