In recognition of Love Your Library Month, the Trustees of the Reuben Hoar Library want to hear all about YOUR love of libraries.
Whether it's our very own RHL or another library, we are interested in reading essays that speak to what your library means to you.
The Trustees will be collecting essays from February 1st to February 17th.
Contestants' entries will be divided into five groups: grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, and adults.
The top three essays from each category will be publicized for town-wide voting which will occur between February 18th and February 24th.
On February 24th, the finalist from each of the five categories will be announced. A final town-wide vote, occurring between February 24th and March 2nd, will determine the grand prize winner.
On March 10th, the five finalists will be invited to come to RHL for the announcement of the grand prize winner.
All finalists will have their essays framed and displayed at RHL for all to enjoy.
The five finalists will receive personalized prizes, and the grand prize winner will be given a brass placard to affix to his/her favorite shelf at RHL.
Best of luck to you all,
The Trustees of the Reuben Hoar Library
