Veteran's Corner

Veteran's Corner

veteran corner donation

The Board of Selectmen are working with local community groups to update the Edgar P. Romilly Veterans Corner.  This special corner was created on Littleton Common to honor all service men and women from Litleton who  fought in the American Armed Forces since WWII to date.  Currently there are three monuments in the Veterans Corner (WWII, Korean and Vietnam), but there are now over 460 names to be added to the Veterans Corner honor roll. This will entail adding two more monuments, refurbishing the existing monuments, replacing the pavers, re-landscaping the area surrounding the corner and adding new lighting.  To learn more about this project or to make a donation, please go to the Veterans Corner Project Littleton MA on facebook or visit https://friendsoflittletonveterans.com

Patriotic Banners (Shown below) are also being sold to support this project! If you wish to honor a veteran you know, someone currently serving in the military, or an anonymous veteran, please go to the site https://friendsoflittletonveterans.com  to purchase your banner. Patriotic banners will be hung on the electric poles lining Great Road and King Street, from May 1, 2019, through November 30, 2019. For more information, please e-mail [email protected]
