Affordable Housing Trust
The Mission of the Affordable Housing Trust: To acquire, create, preserve, and support affordable housing for the benefit of low and moderate income households in the Town of Littleton. The affordable housing trust will help build local capacity for housing advocacy, housing finance, and housing development (Master Plan Implementation Goal #48 Building Local Capacity). To learn more about the Trust's work, read the LAHT 5-Year Action Plan. The Littleton Affordable Housing Trust meetings are generally held the third Tuesday of the month via Zoom. The State publishes a "Housing Toolbox" website to support Housing Trusts; it's a great resource! A new tool to help communities understand "density", especially near commuter rail stations, is being developed by MassHousing Partnership: Residensity.
