Voluntary Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance is provided through The Standard. If you did not sign up for this benefit(s) when it was first made available to you, you will be subject to the extended benefit waiting period as outlined in the group certificate documents below. Please check with Human Resources (HR) if you are unsure of your benefits by emailing hr@littletonma.org.
The Standard Website - access your account information, file a claim in the portal, check the status of your claim, etc.
*Please Note the following limitation of STD + LTD policies: No STD Benefits will be paid for any period when you are eligible to receive benefits for your Disability under a workers' compensation law or similar law. If your claim for these benefits is accepted, compromised or settled (whether disputed or undisputed), you must repay us for the full amount of any payments we make to you while your claim for occupational benefits is pending.
