YA Winter Reading December 13th to February 21st

Still want to play? Grab another Bingo Board and Start Again!
If you are participating in Winter Reading every library even you attend gets you a Gatcha spin!

Our book for December The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Copies of the book will be available for pickup on Dec 8th.

Creative Writing for Teens
January 17th, 1-3pm
Teen Room
Meet with other teens who are interested in creative writing, practice your art, and share your work (but only if you feel like it)! All creative storytellers and artists are welcome—whether your interest lies in prose, poetry, comics, or something else.
Open to kids in grades 6–12. Please register in advance.
TEEN LO-FI STUDY LOUNGE
Wednesdays 2:30-4:30pm

Walk-in to the Lo-fi Study lounge in the Murry Room!
Study or do homework after school from 2:30-4:30pm while listening to some quiet Lo-fi beats!
Groups welcome. Quiet conversation and homework help encouraged.

The Reuben Hoar Library is dedicated not just to providing space and events for young adults, but also the chance for young adults to create and run their own clubs and programs.
All Teen programs are for grades 6 through 12 unless otherwise listed.

Did you know... the library offers FREE online test prep and practice tests for the SAT, ACT, PSAT, AP exams, and so much more?
Peterson's Test Prep is available as one of the many online information resources offered by the library.
Create a free account to improve your test scores, watch math/english/science tutorials, research colleges and scholarships, create a resume, complete Microsoft Office and Windows 11 tutorials, and access many other services.
Transparent Language Online
The library offers Transparent Language Online, free with your library card! Choose from over 100 languages and learn at your own pace. Start something new or brush up on rusty language skills. For our younger patrons, KidSpeak activities are available in six languages.
