Senior SAFE is funded by a grant from the State of Massachusetts. The goal of this grant is to provide public education and services relating to fire and home safety to the elder population of our community. One part of this program is a free inspection, to seniors in need, of their smoke and CO detectors, offering replacements at no charge if deemed necessary. Over the last several years, hundreds of community senior citizens have been provided with smoke and CO detectors providing a necessary level of safety and security to our aging community members.
