Holiday Helpers

The intent of this program is to help Littleton families experiencing financial difficulties during the holiday season. Through community donations we will supply clothing needs and 3 wanted items per child to help lighten the financial burden of the winter holidays.

Holiday Helpers Gift Donations

Our 2025 season has come to a close.  This year we were able to assist 62 kids in Littleton through the Holiday Helpers program. As a community we were able to fulfill 652 requested needs and wants this year, giving away an approximate total of $24,720.00! Every year we are blown away by the generosity shown by our community year after year to support this Program. From our department and all of our enrolled families. Thank You for all of your continued help with this amazing program!

This year, there are four easy ways you can help make a difference:

1. Shop from the Holiday Helpers Amazon Gift Registry - Now Closed

Choose a gift online, and it will be delivered directly to the PRCE Office—quick, simple, and impactful.

2. Donate to the Holiday Helpers Gift Fund - You can make a donation any time of year.

Your donation supports gift purchases for children whose needs aren’t fulfilled through other means. All proceeds go directly to the Holiday Helpers Gift Fund.

3. Pick Up a child's Gift Request Card in Person - Now Closed

Visit the PRCE Office, EHS Senior Center, or the Reuben Hoar Library to select a child’s gift request from our Holiday Helpers trees.
Take the corresponding gift ID card, purchase the item, and return it unwrapped with the ID card to the PRCE Office at 36 King Street. All items need to be dropped off at the 36 King Street on or before Monday, Dec. 15th, 2025. 

4. Purchase a Holiday Helpers Ornament. 

We have a limited supply of the special Holiday Helpers Littleton ornaments—just $20 each, first come, first served. We will also have the ornaments available at Littleton's Holiday Bazaar at the Littleton Middle School on December 2nd, 2025.
All proceeds go directly to the Holiday Helpers Gift Fund.

• All gifts must be returned or shipped to the PRCE office before Monday, December 15th, 2025.
  • If you do not think you will make this deadline, please call the office at 978-540-2490 or email Littleton Recreation.

Holiday Helpers Gift Applicants (The application process is closed for 2025.)

This is a complete list of what is needed to enroll you into the program:

• Both sides of this document completely filled out.
• Proof of Littleton, MA residency (current utility bill or current driver's license)
• 2024 tax return or 2024 award letters
• Income statements for one month from this current year (2025) or 2025 unemployment or award letters
• Proof of custody (could be a school report card, School ID card, or Guardianship papers)

How to enroll your family in this year's Holiday Helpers program:

1. Complete all sections of the application and make copies of any letters or documents that can verify the required items listed previously.
   • Physical copies of the application are located at our office, 36 King Street, Littleton, MA 01460
   • If you need help making copies you can set up an appointment with the PRCE department for assistance. Call 978-540-2490 or email Littleton PRCE.
2. Turn in completed application, wish lists, needs lists, and copied documents to the Parks, Recreation, and Community Education Department
   • Applications can be:
     • Mailed to 36 King Street, Littleton, MA 01460
   • Allow 3 to 5 days for response from the PRCE Director, Alicia Day
