Engine 1 is a 2012 Smeal rescue pumper with a 1,500 GPM pump, a 1,000 gallon water tank, and a 30 gallon Class A foam tank. It is powered by a Cummins turbo diesel engine and an Allison electronic automatic transmission and seats 4 personnel, 3 with SCBA. It has a mid-mount pump panel, pre-piped and detachable deck gun, carries 1,500 feet of 4-inch hose, 500 feet of 2-1/2-inch hose, and 450 feet of 1-3/4-inch hose. It is the 2nd due engine and primary for mutual aid responses.
