On May 4, 2020 the Select Board voted to approve a Host Community Agreement with The Harvest Club, LLC, relative to 160 Ayer Road, for a retail adult use marijuana establishment. The HCA is subject to approval by the Cannabis Control Commission and operation of the facility is contingent upon the issuance of any necessary Town permits and approvals. The HCA provides for quarterly mitigation payments of a community impact fee equal to 3% of gross sales, including sales of marijuana, marijuana infused products, paraphernalia, and any other products sold by the facility.
