Littleton Civic Leadership Academy

2026 Inaugural Year

The academy is a 10-week evening program designed to help residents better understand how Littleton's Town government operates.  The program is intended to deepen awareness of municipal services, decision-making, and the challenges facing local government, and to encourage informed, engaged residents who are interested in their community. Through department presentations, discussions, and behind-the-scenes perspectives, participants will gain a practical understanding of how Littleton functions day to day.

Classes will be held one evening per week, at various municipal facilities throughout Town. Sessions will be led by Town staff and will include interactive presentations, group discussions, and, when possible, facility tours or demonstrations.

The Academy is free of charge and open to anyone who lives in Littleton. Class size is limited to ensure meaningful interaction, and advance registration is encouraged. A waitlist will be maintained if needed.

All Littleton residents are welcome to apply.

Requirements for Participation

  • Must be a current resident of Littleton
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
